The IODD files of IO-Link devices are installed, updated or uninstalled in the ‘IO-Link IODDs’ backstage section in the repository.
If the CODESYS extension is installed, the following applies:
-
An IODD file is installed not only in the Festo Automation Suite repository but also in the CODESYS repository. The two repositories are synchronised at program start.
-
An IO-Link device, as part of an AP system with an IO-Link master, is installed and managed in the CODESYS repository.
